German for Proficient Bilinguals 11-13

Service Description

This course is for 11-13 year-olds who have a proficient understanding of the German language and are comfortable speaking it. With age-appropriate literature analysis and cultural studies, this course will boost critical thinking, vocabulary, and understanding of complex grammar. Through a curriculum that emphasizes cultural immersion, complex linguistic skills, and interactive learning, students will deepen their connection to the German language and culture, while at the same time gain the skills to confidently engage in discussions, presentations, and written assignments on a variety of topics. Aligned with the German Grundschule curriculum, this class offers a comprehensive and enriching educational experience. We meet once a week for 45 minutes in small groups of up to 6 students.
