Welcome to our Heritage German Program! This program is designed for bilingual kids and teens with a strong foundation in German who want to deepen their language skills. We offer two levels: Novice Heritage Speakers, for those with a basic understanding of German, and Proficient Heritage Speakers, for students more advanced in speaking, reading, and writing.In small, engaging classes conducted entirely in German, students will explore advanced vocabulary, grammar, and cultural topics, building fluency and confidence in both speaking and writing. Students enhance fluency through creative expression, critical thinking, and real-world application, making this ideal for kids and teens who speak German at home or with family.

Prerequisite: Students enrolling in this course should have a comfortable understanding of German, as all classes are conducted exclusively in the language. If you feel your child may not yet be ready for this immersive experience, we offer a variety of other classes tailored to different levels of proficiency. Note before you register: 

Classes are virtual and synchronous. Our teachers use various software and online tools. Please make sure your student is equipped accordingly (computer/iPad with keyboard, google email account, noise-canceling headphones).
